    As always, Mr. Obama hit all the right points. His methodology is simple; do right by the American people (all of them) regardless of criticisms and mischaracterizations, and let the political chips fall where they may.

    What I found most interesting about the night, however, was the Republican response. Particularly Mitch Daniels’ praise for the exemplary Obama family unit. Could this have been a shot across the bow of the U.S.S. Newt-the very embodiment of hypocrisy-Gingrich…a slick jab coming from a Romney-favoring GOP establishment?
