I would like to call for the impeachment of 41 senators and 238 representatives, including all six Republicans on the supercommittee, for violating their oath of office. These senators and representatives have sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States and to faithfully discharge the duties of their office, and yet they have sworn another oath not to raise the taxes needed to support the government and reduce the deficit. They have sworn to uphold the wealth of the richest corporations and individuals in this country by signing the pledge put out by Grover Norquist and the Americans for Tax Reform not to raise taxes. So I think they should all be impeached.
