Poll Question – Time for Outrage?

Written by: Sarah LaDuke    Filed under: Poll Question, The Roundtable     Comments: 2    Tags

At about 9:35am we will air Joe Donahue’s interview with Stéphane Hessel. Hessel – French Resistance leader, concentration camp survivor, and former UN speechwriter – has written a book, Time for Outrage! (Indignez Vous!), that has sold millions of copies worldwide since its publication in France a year ago.

After that interview, we will open the phone lines and ask you: When, do you think, it is time for outrage?

sooooo many things are soooo wrong that we are splintered in our outrage. Fortunately, Stop the Machine;Create a New World will be occupying Freedom Plaza, Washington D.C. beginning October 6 and remaining until the federal government starts listening to the people rather than to the corporations. This is an umbrella group which realizes that our problems are related and spring from the erosion of democracy that has taken place over the decades.
This is our American Spring [in the Fall].
