If it lights a fire under Congress to truly address the future of our country, it has been a long time in coming. It is time for the people of this nation to get involved and speak up. The well being of our country is at stake. Medicare and medicaid can be tightened up, but military spending and corporate welfare must also be addressed. Our social contract has been violated, our country is at risk. The only real question is can it be restored?
seems odd to me that there are at least six other rating companies in the USA and perhaps another 15 world wide and the only one to entertain a downgrade is Standard and Poor’s, perhaps this is a politically motivated downgrade. Do you think we are in better shape than the rest of the world and do you think we still have the largest economy. The real problem can be traced to a desire from certain factions in our government to do anything it can to remove President Obama in the next election and they will do anything including the complete destruction of our nation to insure that end
