Poll Question – Hacking in the US?

Sen. Dick Durbin, the second-ranking Senate Democrat, has called for congressional hearings and investigations of Rupert Murdoch’s media empire to determine whether it employed illegal practices in the U.S. Do you believe such an investigation should take place?

While I beleive that the Murdock empire should be investigated, we have three branches of goverment and the Justice Department is the one that should do the investigation.
Congress can’t do its own job, why shoud they try to do the job of the Justice Department?

I agree with the first comment. The Murdoch empire should most definitely be investigated on all levels! In fact, such an investigation is long overdue. However, congress has not shown any ability to “get the job done” on any level, for any subject so any investigation should be the responsility of the Justice Department.
